I always thought ‘Miss Universe’ was a bold title. I mean, we have Miss USA and even, a less popular, Miss World, but to say “UNIVERSE?” Is Earth not enough? Is it really necessary to extend the crown light-years away?
So I guess we’ve pretty much set the beauty standard and ruled out all other life forms at this point, right? Not that there are any, but we’re going to feel a little silly if aliens make contact and find out we went over their heads with this whole “Miss Universe” thing.
Fortunately, the Miss Universe winners will probably be abducted first.

They’ll definitely go for the Miss Universe winners first. And I don’t know who they’ll go for next but I think with this post you’re probably pretty safe, since you’re kind of on their side (the alien’s side, that is).
